BigBear.ai has finalized its $250 million cash acquisition of Ask Sage, strengthening its position as a provider of secure, production-grade AI for national security, defense, intelligence, and regulated commercial environments. The deal brings Ask Sage’s fast-growing generative AI platform—already used by more than 100,000 users across 16,000 government teams—into BigBear.ai’s portfolio, expanding its capabilities in secure AI deployment, orchestration, and agentic workflows. The acquisition builds on BigBear.ai’s strategy to deliver AI solutions that operate reliably within strict security, compliance, and data governance frameworks, enabling customers to move beyond experimentation to real-world operational impact.
