Cohesity Enhances Identity Security with Threat Detection & Response

Cohesity

Cohesity announced new advanced Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR) features. These enhancements build on its Identity Resilience portfolio. They offer a better way to secure, protect, and recover key identity systems like Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID. Identity is key to all enterprise access. If it’s compromised, operations can stop and sensitive data can leak. This makes it a prime target for attackers. They exploit misconfigurations, privilege escalation paths, and weak controls. Cohesity’s new features aim to boost identity security. They help detect and stop identity-driven attacks in real time. Plus, they speed up recovery in hybrid environments.

“Identity is at the heart of cyber resilience. When identity systems are compromised, the impact can be immediate and business-wide,” said Vasu Murthy, chief product officer, Cohesity. “By bringing together threat detection, automated response, and rapid recovery across Active Directory and Entra ID, Cohesity delivers an industry-leading solution with a single, unified view of hybrid identity risk. This enables organizations to reduce risk, stop identity driven attacks faster, and recover with confidence before, during, and after an attack.” Highlighting customer impact, Justin Hall, vice president of Strategic Partner Growth at Pellera, added that Cohesity helps teams detect risky identity changes early, respond automatically, and recover identity systems quickly to remain operational against sophisticated attacks.
