Databricks Introduces Brickbuilder Network to Drive Agentic AI

Databricks recently declared the launch of the Brickbuilder Partner Network (BPN), a global business program to facilitate the development, innovation, and application of agentic AI solutions using the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. This new and expanded partner ecosystem is particularly created for consulting and system integrator partners, independent software vendors (ISVs), and data providers to help them thrive in the growing agentic AI sector.

As organizations move from experimentation to production-grade, agentic artificial intelligence – intelligent systems that actively drive outcomes – Databricks is evolving its partner strategy with a singular mission: to invest in partner practices, drive measurable business outcomes, and transform complex data and AI implementations into repeatable, high-impact solutions. The company’s ecosystem has grown to more than 7,000 partners, collectively addressing a multi-hundred-billion-dollar opportunity by delivering data and AI solutions across industries.

The Brickbuilder Partner Network proposes a new unified tiering framework: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum, which brings together existing partnership models from various partner types, including consulting and system integrators, connected technology partners, data providers, and built-on partners. The new framework offers a unified set of recognitions and incentives to support growth and collaboration on a global scale.

Databricks, along with this, is changing the economics of the partners through a new Velocity incentive program, wherein the partners are rewarded for generating customer lifecycle value, including sourcing new use cases, encouraging early adoption, and growing long-term consumption. This consumption-centric approach directly links Databricks’ success with the partners.

To help partners differentiate their expertise, Databricks is rolling out a specialization program with core industry and product badges, including GenAI and Lakeflow, enabling partners to showcase verified proficiency. Additional delivery expert badges recognize individual practitioners who demonstrate advanced skills on the Data Intelligence Platform.

The Brickbuilder Partner Network also includes expanded investments in partner demand generation, market development funds (MDF), and AI-driven advocacy tools designed to match partners with the right opportunities, drive pipeline development, and integrate partner solutions within Databricks’ internal workflows.
