CrowdStrike and Schwarz Digits Partners to Deliver Sovereign Cybersecurity Across Europe

CrowdStrike

CrowdStrike and Schwarz Digits have announced a significant expansion of their strategic alliance. The organizations have launched a multi-year collaborative roadmap designed to deploy the AI-native Falcon® platform on STACKIT, the sovereign cloud infrastructure managed by Schwarz Digits, broadening enterprise access to advanced threat protection across the European region.

As a core element of the expanded partnership, CrowdStrike has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the intellectual property assets of XM Cyber, a Schwarz Digits company recognized for its advanced attack path visualization and offensive security simulation technologies. Over time, existing XM Cyber customers will be provided a clear path to transition to the Falcon platform via the Falcon® Flex licensing framework.

As the emergence of frontier AI accelerates the speed at which cyber adversaries can identify, chain, and weaponize vulnerabilities, global organizations are actively retiring fragmented point products. Instead, enterprises are standardizing operations on the unified Falcon platform to merge continuous digital footprint visibility with exploitability-driven risk prioritization and automated threat response across their entire attack surface.

“Organizations globally are increasingly prioritizing sovereignty without wanting to compromise on cybersecurity outcomes,” said George Kurtz, CEO and founder of CrowdStrike. “This partnership accelerates our ability to deliver the Falcon platform on STACKIT’s sovereign cloud environment in Europe, and the acquisition furthers our exposure management business. Customers are moving beyond point products for platforms to secure their AI adoption journeys.”

Redefining Vulnerability Governance with Falcon Exposure Management

Falcon® Exposure Management acts as a fundamental architectural pillar for securing enterprise systems in the frontier AI era. Conventional vulnerability management methodologies struggle to match the speed of modern threats, often leaving internal IT teams chasing a high volume of generic alerts while malicious actors focus on the critical security gaps that truly matter.

Falcon Exposure Management replaces this reactive approach with continuous, real-time tracking across the corporate infrastructure, prioritizing remediation based on actual, real-world exploitability. Because the solution is natively built on the unified Falcon platform, threat detection, automated response, and systemic remediation function as a singular operational unit. This tight alignment closes the critical time gap between risk identification and active breach prevention.

This comprehensive efficiency drives the industry shift toward consolidation: data from research firm IDC indicates that organizations replace an average of five disconnected point security tools when adopting the unified, real-time risk visibility delivered by the Falcon platform.

Elevating Digital Sovereignty Standards for European Enterprises

The expanded agreement deepens the operational relationship between CrowdStrike and Schwarz Digits, underscored by the internal deployment of the Falcon platform across Schwarz Digits‘ own infrastructure. The phased roll-out roadmap will deliver the Falcon platform directly from STACKIT, a highly secure sovereign cloud infrastructure entirely operated within the regulatory boundaries of the European Union.

As strict regulatory frameworks like the EU Cyber Resilience Act and the NIS2 directive elevate compliance requirements for organizations managing critical national infrastructure, European enterprises are increasingly seeking robust cybersecurity platforms that satisfy the highest technological and legal criteria.

“European organizations should not have to compromise on cybersecurity for sovereignty,” said Christian Müller, CEO of Schwarz Digits. “By making the Falcon platform a core pillar of our cybersecurity strategy and providing a long-term roadmap to host it on STACKIT, we are paving the way for enterprises to systematically adopt AI-native protection. Building on XM Cyber’s proven value in proactive defense, our priority is to keep daily operations seamless for our customers while offering a clear pathway to the Falcon platform. Combining our large-scale infrastructure experience and reach with the industry’s leading security platform, we are uniquely positioned to advance European digital independence.”
