Anthropic, Blackstone, and Hellman & Friedman have announced the official commercial launch and branding of Ode with Anthropic (“Ode”). The standalone artificial intelligence services firm, initially conceived earlier this year, enters the market with a clear mandate to help mid-sized and large enterprises transition from pilot experimentation to the full operational deployment of advanced generative AI models.
The new venture is capitalized by a high-profile consortium of institutional backers. Alongside the founding partners, the investor matrix includes Goldman Sachs, General Atlantic, Leonard Green & Partners, Apollo Global Management, GIC, and Sequoia Capital. The firm combines Anthropic’s frontier language models with an elite cohort of applied AI engineers and operators to establish a specialized, end-to-end implementation delivery channel.
Operations Core Anchored by Fractional AI Acquisition
The structural foundation of Ode relies on the engineering assets of Fractional AI, an applied AI services boutique acquired by the consortium in May 2026. The core technical staff from that acquisition, combined with specialized systems engineers cross-deployed from Anthropic, constitutes the centralized operational unit of the company.
Ode’s executive management features continuity from the acquired firm, with Fractional AI co-founders Chris Taylor stepping in as Chief Executive Officer and Eddie Siegel assuming the role of Chief Technology Officer.

“Companies everywhere see the potential for what AI can do for their businesses, the challenge is making it real,” said Ode CEO Chris Taylor. “Our teams partner closely with CEOs and across organizations to define and execute the highest priority AI initiatives. By pairing the deep subject matter expertise of our clients with our top applied AI talent, we’re able to drive transformation level impact. There’s enormous demand for Anthropic’s technology, and we’re scaling quickly to help clients adopt AI with a focus on outcomes.”
“As mid-size companies move from experimenting with AI to building it into their operations, they need partners with real implementation depth and a clear understanding of how their businesses actually work,” said Garvan Doyle, Anthropic’s Head of Forward Deployed Engineering, Americas. “Ode was built to be that partner, adding to Anthropic’s growing ecosystem of partners that help enterprises put Claude to work.”
Unlocking Elusive Frontier Engineering Talent for Mature Industries
The collective workforce powering Ode brings deep enterprise deployment expertise across highly regulated and complex industrial verticals, including financial services, healthcare, retail, advanced manufacturing, and enterprise software. Reflecting its technical focus, a significant portion of the engineering bench consists of former technical startup founders, with the vast majority holding advanced technical degrees alongside a decade or more of hands-on software development and machine learning deployment experience.
Historically, this high caliber of frontier AI engineering talent has been heavily concentrated inside major research laboratories, rendering it largely inaccessible to broader corporate sectors. Ode’s organizational structure was designed explicitly to break this resource bottleneck. To meet rapidly accelerating enterprise demand for practical AI workflows, the firm has initiated an aggressive recruitment drive targeting top-tier engineers, product leaders, and operations specialists focused on constructing high-impact AI systems within real-world production environments.
