Accenture and Google Cloud Partners to Unveil Gemini Enterprise Business Group to Drive Agentic AI Deployments

Accenture and Google Cloud have announced the formation of the Accenture Gemini Enterprise Business Group. This dedicated global organization is engineered to assist enterprise clients in scaling Google’s Gemini Enterprise ecosystem and unlocking production-grade value during the agentic AI era.

Functioning as a core pillar of the broader Accenture Google Business Group, the new entity represents a substantial joint co-investment. The initiative unites Accenture’s Gemini Enterprise-certified consultants, Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs), and domain specialists with Google Cloud’s technical teams to help organizations translate data strategies into measurable operational outcomes.

Scaling the Gemini Enterprise Platform Across Industry Verticals

As global enterprises transition from legacy software development models to autonomous, agentic AI frameworks, the Accenture Gemini Enterprise Business Group provides a structured, scalable pathway for adoption-supporting everything from localized business-unit pilots to complete corporate transformations.

Building on Accenture’s existing network of nearly 50,000 Google Cloud-certified professionals, the newly formed business group will expand specialized Gemini Enterprise training and establish a 1,000-person FDE workforce. Operating across the full Gemini Enterprise technology suite, the team will focus on four core operational pillars:

Accelerated Platform Adoption: Deploying proprietary implementation frameworks and software accelerators built specifically for Gemini Enterprise environments.

Industry-Specific AI Solutions: Engineering pre-configured, repeatable vertical applications to shorten development cycles and accelerate ROI.

Production-Scale Transformation: Establishing dedicated capability centers designed to transition AI projects from isolated sandbox experiments into enterprise-wide deployments.

User Enablement and Scaling: Driving continuous organizational change management to ensure maximum workforce adoption of Gemini-powered tools.

“The companies seeing the greatest outcomes from AI are unlocking new growth, increasing productivity and resilience, and creating better experiences for their customers and employees,” said Julie Sweet, chair and CEO, Accenture. “The Accenture Gemini Enterprise Business Group will help clients achieve these outcomes faster, bringing together the talent, advanced AI and data capabilities, and industry expertise needed to reinvent with confidence and create value at scale.”

“Deploying agentic AI is a top priority for enterprises today, and the Accenture Gemini Enterprise Business Group significantly expands the expertise and resources available to help our customers deliver real business value,” said Thomas Kurian, CEO, Google Cloud. “Building on the success we’ve seen with world’s leading brands, we’re combining Google Cloud’s full-stack AI capabilities with Accenture’s deep industry expertise to deliver transformation at scale.”

Proven Production Success and Market Recognition

The business group builds upon a track record of joint customer deployments. In one notable implementation, YouTube collaborated with Accenture and Google Cloud to deploy a custom Gemini Enterprise support agent to manage demand spikes during NFL Sunday Ticket broadcasts. The automated agent increased customer sentiment by 11% while reducing average handling times by 37%.

The joint venture expands on the foundation established by the companies’ shared Generative and Agentic AI Center of Excellence and the Gemini Enterprise Acceleration Program. Reflecting its market performance, Accenture was named Google Cloud’s 2026 Global Services Partner of the Year for the fourth consecutive year, while also securing Global Partner of the Year honors for Artificial Intelligence (Sales & Services) and the Global Public Sector.
