Acumatica, a leading provider of cloud ERP solutions for small and midsize businesses, announced the appointment of Jason (JJ) James as chief information officer (CIO). James joins Acumaticaโ€™s executive committee and will lead the companyโ€™s IT organization, strengthening the technology foundation that supports its employees, partners, and customers.

James brings more than 25 years of technology leadership experience, guiding both private equity-backed and publicly traded companies across industries and global markets. Most recently, James served as CIO at Aptos Retail, where he directed the strategy, operations, and security of multi-cloud SaaS platforms architected across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. He previously served as CIO at Net Health and at Optima Healthcare Solutions, where he led cloud modernization, cybersecurity, compliance, and IT integration for mergers and acquisitions.
