Advantech has launched a new set of edge AI compute solutions: the AOM-6731, AIMB-293, and SOM-6820. These are powered by the Dragonwing IQ-X platform. They meet the rising needs of today’s industrial environments. Built on 12-core and 10-core Dragonwing IQ-X processors with Qualcomm Oryon CPUs running up to 3.4GHz, the solutions deliver strong processing performance while consuming 28% less power than traditional x86 systems. Integrated Qualcomm® Hexagon NPUs provide up to 45 TOPS of AI acceleration, enabling advanced real-time inference at the edge.

The systems also feature LPDDR5X memory for higher speeds and lower power usage, along with high-throughput UFS 3.1 and optional UFS 4.0 storage for durability in harsh conditions. Multimedia and vision workloads are supported through Snapdragon Adreno VPU and GPU capabilities, including 4K video processing. Integrated Wi-Fi 7 and 5G connectivity provide ultra-low latency and high bandwidth. This makes the platforms ideal for data-heavy, AI-driven industrial applications.
