IBM Unveils AI Delivery Model Focused on Real-World Enterprise Execution

IBM has introduced a new AI delivery model designed to help enterprises move beyond experimentation and achieve measurable business outcomes from AI deployments in real-world environments. As revealed by IBM Consulting, the method is based on the utilization of small and senior “Forward Deployed Units” (FDUs), which include strategic, engineering, and operational skills required for the fast introduction and expansion of AI solutions straight into the customers’ environment. As stated by IBM, this approach is designed to overcome one of the key issues of enterprise-level adoption of AI technologies in today’s reality, which consists in difficulties that organizations experience in the process of implementing AI because of fragmented processes, complex governance, and insufficient emphasis on delivery.

The company also emphasized that the model is designed to help enterprises embed AI into core business operations with greater governance, scalability and operational accountability, positioning AI as a long-term business transformation capability rather than a standalone technology initiative.
