Microsoft Defender Threat Intelligence (MDTI) and Microsoft External Attack Surface Management are two new products that the company has just released.
The former will give businesses access to daily updated real-time threat intelligence, whereas the latter will search the internet for agentless and unmanaged internet-facing assets to give a complete picture of the attack surface. The company asserts that the introduction of a new threat intelligence service has the potential to assist security teams in fending off the greatest threats to the provider’s product ecosystem given the widespread adoption of Microsoft devices among enterprise users.
The organization’s goal is to give security teams the knowledge they need to improve their security plans and guard against malware and ransomware threats across the entire Microsoft product ecosystem.
