Wipro appoints Malay Joshi as CEO of Americas No. 1 strategic markets division

Wipro Limited, a leading technology services and consulting company  announced , appointed Malay Joshi as CEO of Wipro Americas No. 1 Strategic Market Division, effective immediately. Malay succeeds Srini Pallia, who was appointed CEO and Managing Director of Wipro Limited on April 6 . Malay will also join the executive board of Wipro.

Malay served as senior vice president and business unit head, responsible for leading the communications, media, technology, retail, travel, hospitality and public sector industries, which formed one of Wipro’s largest business units globally. In this role, he is responsible for helping clients drive successful enterprise transformations, enhance customer experience (CX), enhance delivery, and ensure continued revenue growth for the divisions he leads.

Malay joined Wipro in 1996 and has held various leadership positions across functions, industries and geographies in a career spanning over 28 years. He has a strong background in delivery, consultative selling and client engagement.

Malay holds a bachelor’s degree in information technology engineering and successfully graduated from Harvard Business School’s top global executive program and Stanford University’s advanced project management program.
