Cybersecurity firm GetReal Security has raised $17.5 million in Series A funding to advance its AI-driven threat detection and digital content authentication solutions. The funding round was led by Forgepoint Capital, with participation from Ballistic Ventures, Evolution Equity, K2 Access Fund, and strategic investors In-Q-Tel (IQT), Cisco Investments, and Capital One Ventures.
With the rapid evolution of generative AI and deepfake technology, businesses face new challenges in protecting digital communications from fraud, impersonation, and misinformation.
