Circles, a global telco technology company, has entered into a strategic partnership with OpenAI to develop Southeast Asia’s first fully AI-native telco platform. The collaboration aims to redefine customer experience, strengthen operator efficiency, and establish a new benchmark for telcos worldwide in the AI-first era.
Telecom operators globally face mounting challenges, including falling customer satisfaction scores, declining retention, and margin pressures. By leveraging OpenAI’s advanced models alongside Circles’ telco expertise, the new Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform will integrate AI into every layer of operations — spanning research, CRM, customer support, and overall productivity.
The platform will debut in Singapore through the Circles. Life app before rolling out to Circles’ international telco partners. As part of the multi-year collaboration, Circles will gain access to OpenAI’s early-stage research and models, giving it a first-mover advantage in deploying AI across text, voice, image, and vision to transform digital connectivity.
