Precisely, a global leader in data integrity solutions, has introduced Gio™, a conversational AI assistant designed to simplify and accelerate data management across its Data Integrity Suite. Announced from Burlington, Massachusetts, the launch marks a significant step in the company’s mission to unify trusted data with governed AI for more efficient enterprise operations.
Gio™ allows users to perform tasks such as data discovery, governance, cleansing, and enrichment through natural language prompts. By simply stating intentions like “find and tag sensitive data,” users can trigger the appropriate AI agent without needing coding expertise or deep familiarity with the platform. The assistant forms part of a broader release that includes Precisely AI and Agentic Fabric—a new foundation that standardizes and governs AI usage across the suite.
The debut introduces the first specialized agent: the Data Catalog Agent. This agent automates the search and classification of personally identifiable information (PII) and critical data elements (CDEs). Its aim is to cut down on manual work while maintaining strict governance and security. More agents will be launched in the coming weeks.

“Managing enterprise data has come a long way, yet it still requires coordination across people, tools, and processes,” said Chris Hall, Chief Product Officer at Precisely. “Gio, the Data Catalog Agent, and the AI and Agentic Fabric take that next step, making it as easy as having a conversation while ensuring every action aligns with the governance, compliance, and trust models our customers depend on.”
The AI and Agentic Fabric support these capabilities. They allow model flexibility, ensure clear workflows, and enforce secure governance controls. The new releases show Precisely’s commitment to compliant, explainable AI that meets real-world enterprise needs.
Key advantages of the latest enhancements include faster task execution through conversational commands, scalable automation for ongoing cataloging and compliance, and increased customer control over AI governance. The announcement continues the company’s momentum following recent innovations in AI-driven rule generation, natural language tooling, and expanded LLM support within the suite.
