ClickUp Acquires Codegen to Power AI Super Agents and Redefine Workplace Productivity

ClickUp

ClickUp has acquired Codegen, a leading AI-powered code generation platform, to accelerate its development of Super Agents—AI teammates designed to collaborate like human coworkers and maximize productivity. “The future isn’t about humans adapting to AI, it’s about AI adapting to humans,” said Zeb Evans, ClickUp Founder and CEO. Super Agents, enhanced by Codegen’s agentic AI technology, can autonomously manage projects, generate software, and perform over 500 work skills while learning from interactions and maintaining human-level memory. Operating natively within ClickUp’s unified workspace, they eliminate context fragmentation and enable true end-to-end workflow automation, allowing users to create AI teammates without coding.
