Strobes Unveils AI Harness to Accelerate End-to-End Penetration Testing

Strobes

Strobes has unveiled its unique AI Harness, a system that can be described as an orchestration engine capable of revolutionizing penetration testing by offering full-scale assessment in less than 48 hours for clouds, websites, APIs, and enterprises. With traditional methods that relied on sequential processes and were characterized by inefficiencies due to the coordination effort, the solution is capable of parallelizing the process of reconnaissance, exploitation, evidence gathering, and reporting within a few days. The solution works using a supervisor agent to decompose the task into smaller objectives, then assigns the work to several sub-agents such as cloud, website, API, network, and code review agents among others.

These agents operate simultaneously, sharing structured insights to streamline execution. Built on Strobes’ proprietary agent runtime and powered by advanced foundation models, including Anthropic Claude on AWS Bedrock, the platform integrates guardrails and persistent memory tailored for security operations. “Why does a pentest still take three weeks in 2026?” said Venu Rao, CEO & Co-founder at Strobes. “It’s the coordination overhead, the context switching, and the serial nature of the process. Our AI Harness runs these workstreams in parallel, around the clock, delivering output on par with a senior pentester in a fraction of the time.”
