Boomi and Couchbase Partner to Accelerate Enterprise AI from Pilots

Boomi

Boomi and Couchbase have announced a strategic partnership aimed at helping enterprises scale agentic AI deployments from pilot projects to full production environments. The collaboration combines Boomi’s AI agent connectivity, runtime management and governance capabilities with Couchbase’s operational data platform, which provides scalable recollection, vector search and real-time data access. The firms stated that many organizations find it difficult to deploy their AI agents due to the lack of context, persistent memory, governance, and real-time access to business data, which causes increasing costs for computing and minimal impact on the business. Under the collaboration, the firms intend to jointly develop technologies that will enable the AI agents to safely access corporate data, keep the context throughout interactions, and work under enterprise-level governance and auditing.

Boomi is set to provide the integration platform that includes Boomi Agentstudio and Agent Control Tower for managing the AI agents’ lifecycle and governing them, while Couchbase will offer the operational data layer for semantic and hybrid search features. “2026 is the year organizations move from AI experimentation to activation at scale,” said Ed Macosky, Chief Product and Technology Officer, Boomi. “The challenge isn’t building agents, it’s giving them the data, memory, and governance they need to operate in real enterprise environments.” Barry Morris, Chief Product and Strategy Officer at Couchbase, added that the partnership will help organizations operationalize AI by combining trusted data access, recollection and governance capabilities with the scalability and performance enterprises already rely on for mission-critical environments.
