Lenovo has introduced its Lenovo Hybrid AI Advantage™ portfolio by introducing novel offerings for AI inferencing and agentic AI, allowing enterprises to build AI agents more quickly and reduce token costs as well as scale AI effectively on edge devices, in data centers, and in the cloud. The focus of Lenovo’s hybrid AI factory offering comes at a time when enterprises are moving away from experiments involving AI to scaling AI for inference and autonomous operation. “As captured by the Lenovo CIO Playbook 2026, 94% of organizations are planning to increase their AI investment over the next year1, and enterprises are moving beyond AI experimentation and demanding measurable business outcomes,” said Ashley Gorakhpurwalla, President of Infrastructure Solutions at Lenovo. “Lenovo is uniquely positioned to help customers deploy AI where it creates the greatest value-while dramatically improving token economics, accelerating time-to-value, and maintaining the trust, security, and governance organizations require.”

In order to facilitate the shift towards this platform, Lenovo created inference-optimized platforms in collaboration with partners in the ecosystem like NVIDIA, Intel, Red Hat, and Canonical. Some of the important features include CPU-only Lenovo Hybrid AI Platform featuring the Intel Xeon 6 processor along with Red Hat AI Enterprise to provide better throughput and latency performance for enterprise AI applications. Additional configurations based on Canonical and Red Hat technologies provide scalable, secure pathways for building, deploying, and governing private AI applications. Lenovo says its inference-optimized architecture can significantly reduce AI operating costs, delivering up to eight times lower cost per token compared to cloud infrastructure services and up to 18 times lower cost per million tokens versus model-as-a-service APIs, helping organizations achieve stronger AI ROI while scaling agentic AI initiatives.
