FS, a company that specializes in providing network infrastructures on a global scale, has launched the D7070 Series Integrated 800G Muxponder as an expansion of their DCI offering, allowing them to offer transmission services ranging from 100G to 800G for data centers, metropolitan, and regional networks. As per FS, this is intended to handle the increase in inter-site traffic caused due to AI and cloud computing workloads. As a part of its new D7070 Series product line, FS will now be providing the 1U D7070 solution which offers up to 3.2 Tb/s of total capacity through aggregation of 100GbE and 400GbE services in four coherent 800G wavelengths. This solution will support 100G QSFP28, 400G QSFP112 and 800G CFP2-DCO pluggables, ensuring interconnection capability with future high speed core networks while ensuring energy efficiency and reliability.

The new 800G offering expands FS’s DCI portfolio alongside existing 100G, 200G and 400G solutions designed for point-to-point, secure access, short-reach, medium-haul and long-haul applications. “As AI and cloud workloads accelerate inter-site traffic growth, customers need DCI networks that can scale with demand while maximizing existing infrastructure,” said Bener Peng, Product R&D Manager at FS. “By introducing 800G capabilities, we provide agile, future-proof solution paths across diverse transmission rates and multivendor environments.” FS also plans to advance higher-speed transmission, intelligent optical systems and centralized network management through its AmpCon Management Software.
