In addition, Alibaba Cloud highlighted the Skills Agent-ready infrastructure that allows AI agents to engage with enterprise data warehouses in an advanced manner. The infrastructure gives agents structured access to the analysis workflow and operational tools, and helps them complete tasks such as data manipulation and obtaining insights and other data tasks.
It should be highlighted that the Skills Agent framework was created to address the increasing use of agentic AI systems by enterprises. Through the introduction of skills agent capabilities in the infrastructure of data warehouses, enterprises are able to benefit from automation in their data analysis and operations.
The company stated that Hologres serves as the foundational engine for these capabilities by combining real-time analytics, lakehouse architecture, and high-performance query processing within a unified platform. The integration of AI agent infrastructure further enhances the platform’s ability to support intelligent, autonomous enterprise applications.
According to Alibaba Cloud, such new capabilities would be useful to cover various use cases that include business intelligence, operational analytics, AI copilot, and intelligent decision-making systems. Enterprises could benefit from the use of these solutions to facilitate cooperation between analytics teams and AI systems and eliminate human involvement in data processing.
Additionally, the company stressed that these infrastructural changes would be beneficial in the context of the growing need for AI native data platforms with capabilities that would allow processing and generating data on a large scale using autonomous agents. The intelligent orchestration introduced directly at the data warehousing layer was supposed to help businesses adopt a new generation of analytics.
Finally, Alibaba Cloud stated that introducing Hologres CLI and Skills Agent-ready infrastructure proved the company’s intentions to create intelligent cloud platforms for analytics and operationalization.
